Short Story Number Seven Hundred and Sixteen
Before you left I had no bravery and I couldn’t tell you that I wanted to be with you. I couldn’t tell you that I didn’t want you to leave this stupid town and look for something better. I guess I’m just not used to needing someone so much. It’s kind of scary. But now all I want is to hear your quiet voice and see your perfect face. I want you here, so that we can speak in quiet voices together.
